Delmarva Christian boys basketball seal back-to-back ESIAC title

Second-half run fuels Royals for another conference crown

GEORGETOWN, Del.- With ESIAC Player of the Year Andrew Workman dropping a game-high 22 points, and 21 second half points from Wyatt Kwiatokowski, Delmarva Christian boys basketball captured their second straight ESIAC Championship.

With their 72-49 win over Worcester Prep on Thursday night, the Royals move to 18-2 ahead of the DIAA boys basketball tournament.

In the first half, Worcester Prep hung around tough, with Michael Curtis sinking five threes en route to 17 points in 16 minutes.

In the second half, Delmarva Christian, and Kwiatokowski specifically, ended the third quarter on a 20-3 run, which set them up for the win.
