Cape picks up ‘sweet 16th’ victory of the season

LEWES, Del. – Cape Henlopen picked up their 16th win of the season with a blowout victory over St. Georges 67-34.

The Lady Vikings got off to a sizzling start, roaring out on a 15-0 run. St. Georges came back and closed the quarter on a 14-4 run to end the first on a 19-14.

Cape picked up the pressure in the second quarter and continued to push the offensive momentum the rest of the game outscoring the Hawks 48-20. Four different Vikings finished in double figures en route to the win.
