Byrom, Hawks never trail, down SC State

Princess Anne, MD.- The Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks women’s basketball team never trailed in Saturday’s game, defeating South Carolina State 63-43 at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.

Cyani Byrom finished with a game-high 13 points, and added a career-high 12 assists. Ra’Jean Martin (12 points) and Bareisha Gill-Miles (10 points, 18 rebounds) were the other Hawks really in double-figures in the game. Kemoni Jenkins finished with a game-high 10 points for SC State.
