Accident reported on southbound Route 13 in Accomack County, road closed

MAPPSVILLE, Va. – Virginia State Police are reporting that both southbound lanes of Route 13 in Accomack County are currently blocked due to a motor vehicle accident.

The accident was reported at around 9:15 AM, on southbound Route 13 in the 14000 block of Lankford Highway. Police say these lanes will be blocked for an unknown amount of time. Motorists should seek an alternate route of travel if possible.
