Tyson recalls chicken nuggets due to possible contamination

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tyson Foods, Inc., is recalling more than 36,000 pounds of chicken nugget products that they say may be contaminated with rubber.

The recall includes 5-lb plastic packages of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets with a “best if used by” date of Nov 26 2019, case code “3308SDL03” and time stamps 23:00 through 01:59 (inclusive). The products subject to recall also contain the establishment number “P-13556” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service says these products were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

So far there have been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse reaction as a result of consuming these products. Those who have purchased these products are urged to not eat them, and should either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
