Today’s Forecast: January 29, 2019

Rain early this evening will transition to a quick period of light snow before midnight tonight as cold air rushes in behind a cold front. Temperatures will drop into the low 20s by dawn. A dusting of snow is possible in some areas, especially north, but overall we’re not expecting much. Regardless of accumulation, icy roads are possible during the morning commute Wednesday because anything wet will freeze as temperatures fall.

Expect partly sunny skies on Wednesday with highs in the mid and upper 30s. A secondary cold front will bring another rapid drop in temperatures during the late afternoon and a chance for a snow shower. The winds will turn quite breezy as the front pushes through. Thursday will be much colder behind this front with highs only in the low 20s, but skies will be mostly sunny. Friday will be partly sunny with the chance for a few more snow showers. Highs will be in the low 30s.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Sunday will turn milder with highs in the low 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Even milder temperatures are in store for Monday and Tuesday as temperatures will be near 60 degrees with the chance for a few passing showers.

Have a great night!
