Tech ends their two game skid with a win over Woodbridge

GEORGETOWN, Del- With three players scoring over 14 points, the Sussex Tech Ravens moved to 6-5 after beating Woodbridge 80-61.

A close first half would end in a four point differential with Tech up 39-35. Blue Raider Jamon Kane led all scorers at the half with 19 points, and Devon Reynolds powered the Ravens with 11.

‘Bridge would come out of the locker room on fire opening up with a 12-8 run in the first three minutes. After a time out and a pep talk from coach, the Ravens would go on their own run ending their third quarter with a 16-0 run.

Carrying all of the momentum into the fourth, Tech would hold the Blue Raiders to just 10 points and putting up 21 of their own to down Woodbridge 80-61. Jamon Kane led all scorers with 27 points along with 20 from Gabe Wescott. The Ravens were led by Kevin Custis who put up 18, along with 17 from Devon Reynolds and Skylar Johnson’s 15 points.

The Ravens will look to continue their hot streak when they travel to Newark and take on Hodgson Vo-Tech this Saturday the 19th. Woodbridge will try and get back in the win column when they host Delmar on Thursday.
