SALISBURY, Md. – The Delmarva Shorebirds hosted their Hot Stove Banquet Thursday night at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, Md. Along with members of the front office, the organization invited a very special guest to attend the annual event.

ESPN analyst and Bethesda, Md native Tim Kurkjian spoke to the large crowd on hand about his experience covering Major League Baseball and his time at ESPN since joining the network in 1998. Along with the several captivating stories Kurkjian shared with the fans, he also noted the importance of Minor League Baseball and how the game of baseball will continue to change as the years go on.

The Shorebirds will kickoff their 2019 season on the road April 4th taking on the Lexington Legends.
