Salisbury man facing burglary and theft charges

SALISBURY, Md. – A reported home burglary in Salisbury led to the arrest of one Wednesday afternoon.

A deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported residential burglary in the 2300 block of Marvel Road at around 12:30 PM. On arrival, the deputy noticed signs of forced entry through a window. The victim reported that a laptop computer was missing from the home.

Through further investigation, police learned that 33-year-old Kyle Shrieves was seen on the property before the discovery of the burglary. Shrieves was found on a nearby street and was taken into custody, when he reportedly admitted to police that he entered the home.

Shrieves was taken in on 3rd degree burglary, 4th degree burglary, and theft charges. He was later released on unsecured bond.
