Queen Anne’s uses three-goal third period to defeat Kent Island

EASTON, Md.- Down 1-0 with less than five minutes to go in the third period, it looked like Kent Island had everything wrapped up against Queen Anne’s. That’s until Lions’ captain Gavin Blue netted the game-tying goal.

But, QA didn’t stop there. Less than 30 seconds later, the other captain, Ethan MacGregor slid the puck five hole to give Queen Anne’s the lead that they wouldn’t hand back.

With an empty-net goal for insurance, the Lions’ walked out of the Talbot County Community Center with a 3-1 win on Friday afternoon.

The lone Bucs’ goal came from Matt Sidun in the first period.
