PRMC offering free Friends & Family CPR training classes

SALISBURY, Md. – Peninsula Regional Medical Center will hold two free Friends & Family CPR classes during the month of February.

The Family & Friends CPR course is an American Heart Association class that teaches lifesaving skills of adult hands-only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block of adults, children, and infants.

This course is designed for those who want to learn CPR but don’t need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. The class is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone else interested in learning how to save a life.

Classes will be held on Monday, February 11th, and Monday, February 25th, from 10 AM to noon, in the Avery W. Hall Educational Center Auditorium on the PRMC campus. Participants only need to attend one session to complete the course.
