POLICE: 21-year-old charged in connection with fatal overdose

BERLIN, Md. – Officials from the Worcester County Sherrif’s Office say they have arrested a Berlin man in connection to a fatal overdose incident that took place earlier this month.

Police say that on January 8th, they responded to an address in Berlin for an apparent fatal drug overdose of a 20-year-old male. Through investigation, police were able to identify 21-year-old Eric R. Bouaphaeko as the victim’s source of heroin supply.

Bouaphakeo was located and arrested on January 11th. He has been charged with possession of heroin and distribution of heroin, and is currently being held at the Worcester County Jail without bond.
