Parkside girls dominate Bennett to avoid the season sweep

SALISBURY, Md- Behind 34 points and 18 rebounds from Jackie Wright, the Parkside Rams defeated Bennett 74-56. The win propels the Rams to a 9-5 record on the year.

After taking 16-6 lead midway through the first quarter, Parkside would dominate the Clippers the rest of the game. Led most in part by Jackie Wright who dropped a game high 34 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the win. Wright also got some help from Amanda Ballard who racked up 16 points and Stephanie Holmes with 13.

Bennett was led by Peanut Smullen who scored a team high 31 points paired with 11 from Olivia Owens.
