Ocean City Police asking for help in identifying burglars

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Police in Ocean City are asking for the public’s help in finding and identifying the people accused of breaking into a church, and stealing a statue.

Police say a Baby Jesus statue was stolen from a nativity scene at the St. Paul’s by-the Sea Episcopal Church on Dec. 31 around 6 AM.

The burglars were reportedly driving a silver colored sedan with no front license plate.

Police are asking anyone with any information on the burglary or who knows the identity of the individuals pictured to contact the Ocean City Police Department.

The case remains under investigation.
