UPDATE: Fruitland teen found safely

UPDATE: Fruitland Police say Nyjai Jackson has been located safely.

FRUITLAND, Md. – The Fruitland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.

Officials say Nyjai Jackson was last seen at around 9 PM Thursday evening after she left her home of her own accord. She is 4’11”, 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray Nike sweatshirt, black jeans, and black and white checkered Vans shoes.

Although police say there are no known suspicious circumstances, she is considered critically missing due to her age.
