Fruitland man facing burglary charges
SALISBURY, Md. – A Fruitland man is currently behind bars on burglary charges for reportedly returning to a residence that he was previously escorted from.
Just after 9 AM Monday, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an uninvited subject inside a residence in the 4000 block of Coulbourn Mill Road in Salisbury.
On arrival, the resident reported that a guest who had spent the night had been escorted from the property earlier that morning and was told not to return. Shortly thereafter, the guest, identified as 52-year-old Andrew Parsons, decided to return to the residence to collect items that he later said he had forgotten. He found the home unoccupied when he returned and was able to gain access to the home through an unsecured door.
When the resident returned, she allegedly found Parsons sleeping in her bed.
Parsons was subsequently arrested and charged with 4th degree burglary and trespassing. He is currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
