Eastern Shore Splits with Howard

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Maryland Eastern Shore women came from behind and took down the Howard Bison 80-72, after a Cici Byrom and-one with 1:04 remaining in the game.

Byrom finished the game with a game-high 31 points in the victory, including going 14-16 from the free-throw line. Brooklyn Bailey added 12 points for the Hawks also.

The Hawk’s men also took on the Howard Bison but fell to their MEAC rival 79-39. RJ Cole led the way in scoring for the Bison with 26 points. Ahmad Frost tallied 10 points for a team-high for the Hawks.

Both teams will get back to work on Saturday where they host North Carolina Central.
