Earthquake reported off the coast of Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md.– According to the United States Geological Survey, a 4.7 magnitude Earthquake was reported off the coast of Ocean City Tuesday night.

USGS reports the earthquake struck around 6:30 p.m. about 136 miles off the coast.

No reports of a tsunami threat have been made and there have been minimal reports of shaking felt across the peninsula.

The 47 ABC Storm Team, along with USGS continues to monitor the situation.
