Dorchester Board of Ed. holds preliminary budget meeting for public
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – In Cambridge, the Dorchester County Board of Education held their preliminary budget meeting for the 2019-2020 school year. Board officials say this is the first of seven meetings that will take place over the next couple of months. During the meeting parents and residents were able to bring their ideas and issues they’d like to see addressed in the new budget. We spoke to one parent who shared with us her thoughts.
“I believe it’s very important that our public gets out and speak advocate for our kids. I would like to see additional funding placed at our middle schools to assist the principals as well as the teachers to have additional supports for our students.
