Cohen, Crisfield sink WiHi for first time in two years

CRISFIELD, Md.- Behind the best night of the season from Crisfield’s Justin Cohen, the Crabbers routed visiting WiHi on Thursday night, 73-44.

Cohen’s 27 points helped hand Butch Waller and his Indians their first Bayside regular season loss since February 2017. It’s been even longer since Crisfield had beaten Wicomico High, the last time coming in January of 2017.

Following Cohen in the scorebook was Rykell Waters with 13 points and CorTrey Fontaine with 12.

For WiHi, they were without the services of Keshawn Marshall (ankle) and Dom Bailey, who finalized his transfer to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Md. Only two players scored in double-digits for The Tribe, Jaden Baker (19) and Dorian Stevens (10).

Both teams sit tied atop of the Bayside south standings, owning records of 9-1 in the conference.
