Cape girls avenge only loss with victory over Central

LEWES, Del. – Cape Henlopen got the revenge they were looking for after their week 2 loss to Sussex Central. The Lady Vikings took down the Lady Knights 52-29 behind 21 points from Dania Cannon.

The offenses for both squads took some time to heat up after just a 7-5 first quarter had the Vikings in front. Cannon was the main offensive threat for Cape providing 10 points at the half, including two three pointers.

Defensively, the Vikings held the Knights main scoring threat Raeonna Stratton to just 9 points on the night. Cape moves to 10-1 with the victory and is in the driver’s seat in the Henlopen North. Central falls to 9-4 on the season.
