UPDATE: Tuesday morning house fire in Salisbury deemed accidental

 

SALISBURY, Md. – The Office of the State Fire Marshal has deemed a house fire that broke out Tuesday morning accidental.

Officials from the Salisbury Fire Department responded to the call at around 9 AM, at 509 Booth Street. It took 25 firefighters approximately 45 minutes to control.

We’re told the fire began in the foyer area and was a result of an electrical issue. Fire damage has been estimated at a total of $65,000.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, however, we’re told that two dogs died in the fire.
