UPDATE: Suspect identified in Va. Dollar General robbery

1/28 UPDATE: Police have identified the suspect wanted in connection to the Parksley Dollar General Robbery.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 36-year-old Torrean V. Washington of Machipongo, VA on robbery, use of a firearm during a robbery, and grand larceny charges.

PARKSLEY, Va. – Officials are searching for the person who reportedly robbed the Parksley Dollar General store Sunday morning.

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says they received the report at around 8:30 AM. An armed suspect reportedly entered the store and robbed the clerk of an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

No one was injured in the incident. Police say the suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’8″ to 6’2″, with a slim to medium build.
