$1 million lottery ticket sold at Atlantic Liquors in Rehoboth Beach
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – In Delaware, one lucky person could soon be a million dollars richer, but they may not even know it.
We’re told a million dollar ticket was sold at Atlantic Liquors in Rehoboth Beach, but the ticket owner hasn’t shown up to cash in on their reward.
Although the winner didn’t hit the jackpot on Friday, they did match the five numbers drawn, which were 4, 5, 31, 62 and 69. The odds of this are 1 in 12,607,306.
The manager for Atlantic Liquors, Sissy Morrison tells us, “It’s very exciting especially knowing we might know the person that does win and that’s what we are hoping for. Whoever it is, we’re excited that it came from our store. They come in here for our good prices and everything but to leave with a winning ticket that was a bonus.”
The Delaware Lottery says the winner has a year to claim their prize. But regardless of whether they do that or not, we’re told Atlantic Liquors will still receive $10,000 for selling a million dollar ticket.
