Worcester Prep girls onto Gov. Challenge bracket championship

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- Behind a 25 point outburst from Gracie Gardner, Worcester Prep is onto the championship of their Governor’s Challenge bracket with a 61-24 win over Thomas Stone.

Jumping out to a 24-2 lead in the first quarter, the Mallards never looked back, 34-9 at half.

Following Gardner was Hailey Merritt who dropped 14.

Worcester Prep will go for the championship, and hope to keep their undefeated season alive, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m (@UMES) against Kings Christian.
