Worcester Prep girls hoops sweeps season series vs. Delmarva Christian

GEORGETOWN, Del.- After dropping to Delmarva Christian in the ESIAC title game last season, Worcester Prep came into 2018-19 with one goal in mind.

At the halfway point of their season, their part of the way there, sweeping the season series against the Royals with a 42-35 win on Saturday.

The Mallards (6-0) were led by Hailey Merritt who finished with a game-high 23 points and four boards.

For the Royals, Grace Fetterman piled in 17, 13 of them in the second half.
