WiHi survives late Parkside run, remains undefeated
The WiHi boys basketball team moved to 6-0 on the young season, defeating city rival Parkside 69-62 on Thursday night in Salisbury.
WiHi got a game-high 20 points from junior guard Jaden Baker, followed by Keyshawn Marshall’s 16 points. WiHi also got double digit contributions from Dorian Stevens (14) and Dominic Bailey (13).
For Parkside, freshman Taiwan Hardy finished with 17 points, with teammate Daquair Beaty finishing with 10.
Both teams enter their holiday schedules and will participate in the 2018 Governor’s Challenge.
