WiHi girls fall off late against Linganore in Gov. Challenge

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.-  Down headed into the fourth quarter, Linganore outscored WiHi by 15 points in the final frame to take the Governor’s Challenge win, 57-47.

The come from behind victory puts them into their respective bracket championship. Linganore was led by Fiona Rowan with 18 points, and four three-pointers (Rowan would later go on to win the Gov. Challenge 3pt shootout).

For The Tribe, Leyanna Petit finished with 21 points and nine boards in the loss.
