Three arrested following search and seizure of Millsboro home
MILLSBORO, Del. – Three suspects have been arrested following a two month long drug investigation in Millsboro.
On Thursday, members from the Sussex Drug Unit and the Governor’s Task Force wrapped up a two month long investigation into the sale of illegal drugs at a home in the 28000 block of Mount Joy Road.
Officials obtained a search a seizure warrant for the residence, which was executed with the assistance of the Special Operations Response Team.
The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 3.633 grams of heroin, 22.27 grams of marijuana, a Smith and Wesson MP15 .22 caliber rifle, Kel-tec P11 9mm handgun, .22 caliber rifle, more than $5,000 in suspected drug money, and a moped that was confirmed to have been stolen.
At the conclusion of the search, police arrested 29-year-old Clarance Mobley and 23-year-old Daquon Johnson, both of Millsboro, and 24-year-old Jerrontae Holden, of Delmar.
Mobley was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution (SCI) on $10,000 secured bond.
Johnson was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held at SCI on $8,000 secured bond.
Holden was charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a capias for violation of probation. He is being held at SCI on $9,000 cash only bond.
