Sussex Central Girls Topple Sussex Tech

GEORGETOWN, Del – Raeonna Stratton’s 32 points led Sussex Central to a 54-39 win over rival Sussex Tech on Friday night.

The Lady Knights got off to a hot offensive start in the first quarter scoring 20 points with 10 points from Stratton and six points from Azayah Garrison. Tech climbed back in the game in the second quarter holding the Knights to just six points in the frame.

The second half was all Knights as they continued to add to their lead and never looked back.

Sussex Tech will get back to work on Monday, taking on the Salisbury Christian School. Sussex Central will wrap up their homestand on Tuesday hosting Laurel.
