Spates leads Bennett in bounce back win over Colonel
Jarrell Spates poured in 25 points, while adding 3 steals and two assists as the James M. Bennett Clippers bounced back from last week’s win, with a 65-48 win over Colonel Richardson on Tuesday night.
Saquan Cotton finished with 14 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals as the Clippers applied pressure to the Colonels guards all night long. Bennett senior forward Antwan Armstrong finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds on the night. For Colonel Richardson, Diante Dickerson’s 17 points was a team-high. Lorenzo Turner added 12 points to pace the Colonels.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday, Bennett visits Mardela, while Colonel Richardson visits Kent Island.
