Seaford Police investigating two armed robberies in one night
SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Police Department says they are investigating two armed robberies that happened Sunday evening.
At approximately 6:45 PM, Seaford Police responded to the Shore Stop located at 522 West Stein Highway for a reported armed robbery. Store employees told police that a single suspect wearing a black ski mask had entered the store and displayed a handgun to the cashier, demanding money. The cashier then handed over an unknown amount of cash, and the suspect subsequently fled westbound.
About five minutes later, Seaford Police received another armed robbery report, this time at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant located at 1017 West Stein Highway. Employees reported that the suspect entered the store dressed in all black and was wearing a ski mask. The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The suspect fled west with an unknown amount of money.
