Santa stops at Dover Air Force Base

DOVER, Del. –  T-minus four days and counting! The countdown to Christmas is on and on top of his very busy schedule Santa paid a special visit to local military families on Friday!

At Dover Air Force Base military families got the chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and enjoy some holiday festivities and it’s all thanks to the United Service Organization.

One service member, Daniel Byes an Army Avionics Technician tells us this was just the holiday surprise his family needed this time of year.

Byes also said, “We were a little to far to go home so we’re spending the holidays here and it’s the first holiday with all four of us together in Dover.”

Byes, originally from Illinois also says a special thanks to the USO for inviting Santa and providing delicious treats for him and his family Friday.
