Police make drug arrest at Dover Inn

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police and Delaware Probation and Parole arrested a man on Wednesday following a search of his room at a Dover hotel.

At around 10:45 AM, officials conducted an administrative search of 40-year-old Norman Singleton’s room at the Dover Inn, located at 428 N. DuPont Highway in Dover.

The search resulted in the discovery of 5.3 grams of crack cocaine that was packaged in 23 baggies for sale.

Singleton was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child, and violation of probation. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $6,500 secured bond and $10,000 cash bond.
