Parsonsburg man arrested for second degree assault

PARSONSBURG, Md. – A reported domestic assault incident resulted in charges for a Parsonsburg man over the weekend.

Deputies were called to respond to a residence located in the 33000 block of Shavox Road on Sunday. The victim told police that her boyfriend, 24-year-old Damien Vandusen had assaulted her.

Vandusen was placed under arrest for second degree assault after deputies noted an injury on the victim that was consistent with the report. He was taken to Central Booking and seen by a District Court Commissioner.
