NJ man arrested in connection to Dover arson
DOVER, Del. – A New Jersey man is in custody following an early December house trailer fire that was ruled arson.
The blaze was reported shortly after 11 AM on December 6th, in the unit block of East Pinewood Drive near South State Street. Officials say heavy fire damage was estimated at $30,000.
State fire investigators later determined that the fire inside the trailer was intentionally started.
Deputy fire marshals arrested 31-year-old Charles J. Brown, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, on Thursday. Brown is facing arson in the second degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, and breach of release charges.
He was committed to the Young Correctional Institute in Wilmington on $76,000 secured bond.
