New BVSPCA puppies ready to find their “furever” homes

GEORGETOWN, Del. – On Sunday, almost a hundred small dogs and puppies were flown into the Georgetown airport ready to meet their forever families.

The pups were all brought in from over-crowded shelters in Mississippi, and they’re currently staying at the Brandywine Valley SPCA’s Rescue and Rehab Center.

They were brought there specifically for this weekend’s mega adoption event.

If you’re looking for a new addition to your family, now is the time to adopt, since the adoption price will be just 25 dollars this weekend.

Walt Fenstermacher, the Director for BVSPCA said, “So [Sunday’s] flight actually had quite a few puppies just like Callie who were unable to find homes in shelters in Mississippi and have a much better chance at finding a home this weekend at the mega adoption event…Please make sure you can come out this weekend to find a new pet that will give you a ton of love just like Callie.”

If you plan on attending the mega-adoption event, you’re encouraged to get there bright and early as there are typically long lines.
