MSP Princess Anne Barrack taking donations for winter clothing and toiletries drive

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack has announced that they are collecting donations to help families in need.

The Barrack will be accepting donations of warm clothing and basic toiletries during the months of December and January, which will be donated to local homeless shelters and families in need throughout Somerset County.

Donations are now being accepted through January 31st, 2019. Troopers will take all donated items every other week to area shelters. The following clothing items are being accepted in clean, new, or like-new condition:

  • Coats and jackets
  • Winter hats and beanies
  • Gloves and scarves
  • Winter boots and warm socks

Tooth brushes, tooth paste, and deodorant are also being accepted.

All donations should be dropped off at the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack, located at 30581 Perry Road in Princess Anne. Donations are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
