Milford man arrested for DUI following vehicle crash
HEBRON, Md. – A single vehicle accident led to DUI charges for a Milford man over the weekend.
Just before 5:30 PM on Sunday, Maryland State Police troopers responded to the area of Route 50 and Hebron Woods Boulevard in Hebron, for a reported single vehicle accident.
On arrival, they found a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck that had hit a large pole in the grass, just off the roadway. Police were able to determine that the driver, 56-year-old Jacob Mcglothlin, had lost control of his vehicle, causing him to travel off the right side of the roadway and subsequently hit a pole.
Mcglothlin was not injured during the incident.
Further investigation revealed that Mcglothlin was driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a revoked license. He was arrested and taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center to go before a Wicomico County District Court Commissioner.
