Life Crisis Center collecting holiday meals for victims

SALISBURY, Md. – With the holiday season upon us, the Life Crisis Center in Wicomico County that serves victims of abuse is looking for donations to help their clients have a nice Christmas meal.

They are asking for Christmas dinner options such as turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, all the fixings to be placed in a box.

But they are also asking for other donations such as peanut butter, bread, and non-perishables. That’s because students are out of school for two weeks and Life Crisis says those donations will help to feed them.

Abby Marsh, their Executive Director says, “For some families and some children just having a meal on Christmas Day, a special holiday meal is so different for them but it’s also curing the issue of hunger for them and that’s a present all by itself.”

Life Crisis asks you to bring in donations by December 20th.

Since the Life Crisis Center location is protected for victims you can call this number 410-749-0771 and ask for Tina or call their hotline number to see where you can drop them off.
