Late run propels WiHi to win over Crisfield

The WiHi boys basketball team trailed 62-59 with 1:32 remaining in Tuesday night’s home game against Crisfield. The Tribe would go on to score 12 of the game’s final 14 points to defeat the Crabbers 71-64.

WiHi got a game-high 23 points from junior Jaden Baker–including 14 fourth quarter points. Keyshawn Marshall chipped in with 17 points while Dorian Stevens finished with 16 for WiHi (2-0).

Crisfield got contributions for everyone who played, but was led in points by senior Justin Cohen’s team-high 17. CorTrey Fontaine finished with 13 and Ryan Waters ended with 10 in the loss.

WiHi will travel to take on Washington on Thursday, December 13th while Crisfield (1-1) will host Decatur (2-0).
