Hoax bomb threat in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del.– Police in Seaford have deemed a business to be safe after responding to a reported bomb threat.

Investigators say at 2:43 p.m. they responded to the 1900 block of Bridgeville Highway,  after a business received a bomb threat through email. Further investigation immediately showed that this threat was part of a nation wide hoax.

As a precaution, officers proceeded to search the building and its grounds for any suspicious devices.

No suspicious devices were located and the scene was declared safe.
