Harrington residents report KKK fliers circulating

HARRINGTON, Del. – Another town on Delmarva is finding KKK fliers.

47 ABC first learned of new reports in Harrington Tuesday morning, which makes it the third town along with Seaford and Princess Anne.

Residents say plastic bags were thrown on their yard this past weekend, which contain information of racist organizations.

The reports came from Shaw and Benjamin street. The Harrington Police Department is currently investigating the situation.

Chief Norman Barlow says, “We’re looking into it and see what we can come up with and if they do see any of them on their property to give us a call and we can come pick them up and try to process as much as we can. We’ll do our best to see why this is going on.”

As for an update to the Seaford fliers, their police department says after consulting with the Attorney Generals Office, there will be no charges pursued in this investigation.
