Harrington man arrested following disorderly conduct complaint

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested a man following a complaint of disorderly conduct at a local motel on Sunday.

While on patrol, officers responded to the Quality Inn Motel, located in the 1200 block of Corn Crib Road for a reported disorderly subject. When police arrived, they learned that 38-year-old Keith S. Scott was inside a room at the motel when he began acting disorderly and cursing at other people in the room.

When Scott was asked to leave, he allegedly tried to hit one of the other subjects and then fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Police located Scott at his home in the Diamond Court Apartment complex, where he was taken into custody without incident. It was also learned from a computer check that Scott had several outstanding capiases out of Kent County.

Scott was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute on $16,885 cash only bond.
