UPDATE: Gold Alert cancelled for missing Dover teen

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department cancelled the Gold Alert for DeWayne Bowens, on Tuesday, after he returned to his house and was determined to be safe.

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are issuing a Gold Alert for 19-year-old DeWayne Bowens of Dover.

Officials say Bowens was last seen at approximately 8 AM Monday morning, walking in the area of the 1300 block of Forrest Avenue.

He was last seen wearing a black and gray “Jordan” jacket, blue jeans, and black and white Nike sneakers.

According to officials, Bowens suffers from a condition that may pose a threat to his well-being if not monitored properly.
