Fire companies respond to fire in vacant home

DOVER, Del. – Dover Fire Department responded to a house fire on Martin St. early Sunday morning.

The call came in shortly after 4 AM. The vacant, two-story, single family home showed fire coming from the second story.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the second floor, though there was a partial roof collapse.

After searching the home no one was found inside.

First responders from Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company, KCDPS, and Camden-Wyoming Volunteer Fire Company were also on hand.
