Evelyn Davis Center giving away free Christmas toys

SALISBURY, Md. – Friday the Evelyn Davis center is giving out free toys.

We’re told the organization is giving over 500 toys to kids in our area

Organizer Angela Davis, who is Evelyn’s daughter tells us this event brings to life the reason for the Christmas season, the teaching of Jesus and giving to others who are less fortunate than us.

We’re told families who aren’t registered for tomorrow’s event are welcome to show before 6 p.m. to register and get in on the fun.

The best part of tomorrow’s toy give-away? Families who aren’t even registered are welcome to show up!

Davis said, “It’s free to all and all are welcome to show up, show out, and we’re going to spread Jesus’s love.”

They’re also asking for donations for Friday and say if you can’t wrap your gift, that they’ll wrap it for you.

The event starts at 6 p.m. the Salisbury Fire Department Headquarters on Cyprus Street.
