DSP investigating reported robbery in Lewes housing development
LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a reported robbery that took place in the Plantations East Development Tuesday night.
Troopers were called to the unit block of Cottonwood Lane around 10 PM for a reported robbery. When police arrived, a 30-year-old male reported that he had been sitting on his front porch using his mobile phone when he was approached by two male subjects. He said that a scuffle then broke out and his cell phone was taken.
It was also reported that there was a third female suspect who went inside the home and made contact with a 63-year-old female inside. The suspect was reportedly inquiring about an individual and left following a brief conversation.
The first male suspect was described as 6’1″ tall, approximately 210 pounds, with black hair, wearing dark clothing. The second male suspect was described as being 6’4″ tall and was also wearing dark clothing. The female suspect was described as 5’5″, approximately 110 pounds, with blonde hair and wearing dark clothing.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
