Downtown Salisbury hosts 2019 New Year’s Ball Drop

SALISBURY, Md. – While millions of Americans waited for the ball to drop in Times Square, some opted to watch right downtown where Salisbury had their very own.

For the 6th year in a row, the Salisbury Ball dropped and a few hours before the big drop Mayor Jake day told us he couldn’t wait to see more turn out!

Mayor Day said, “We’re expecting better weather better temps thank goodness clearer skies so we’re hoping for more to show out and we’re going to drop a ball tonight.”

The event was until midnight Monday and folks rang in the New Year Salisbury-style.
