Delmar Public Library is officially open to the public
DELMAR, Del. – In Delmar, their new state of the art library opened it’s doors today after being closed for six months. It’s triple the size of their old space with a whole lot more to offer including new areas for kids, teens, and adults.
Plus plenty of books, tutoring rooms and computers for anyone who needs them.
“It’s just a place where someone can come and feel good and feel comfortable and feel safe. We have free WiFi so they can come use the WiFi. We have print and fax so we have services people really need in this community,” explains Jessica Web of Delmar Public Library.
We’re told the library will be more than just a place for reading, they will be providing after school homework help and other various activities.
The library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. On Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
